Imam al-Nawawi is one of the important scholars who make great efforts in the service of religious knowledges. Many authors and researchers have written about his biography and his upbringing. The research aims to study the imam’s grammatical efforts and positions in order to highlight the grammatical aspect of it, beginning with talking about his life, his upbringing, and his knowledge efforts, and addressing his grammatical positions and opinions. This study based on the descriptive approach to clarify and explain the findings. The research is considered a modest attempt to highlight the grammatical efforts of Imam al-Nawawi, as well as the importance of his grammatical contribution.
